Christ Didn’t Say “Born Again”

The Greek word “anothen” in Jn 3:3 & 3:7 means both “from above” and “again.” Christ means “from above” (see Jn 3:31) but Nicodemus misunderstands it as “again.” This misunderstanding serves as a springboard for further instruction.

John 3:31 – He [Christ] who comes from above [anothen] is above all

Christ was the first man to be born of the Holy Spirit, therefore Christ was the first man to be born from above, all who God baptizes in the Holy Spirit are a new creation, they are born from above, they are not born again.

John 3:3 – Christ answered and said to him [Nicodemus], “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above [anothen] he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:4 – Nicodemus said to Christ, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?

John 3:5 – Christ answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit  [born of the Spirit] he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

John 3:6 – That which is born of the flesh is flesh [natural birth], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit [spiritual birth]

John 3:7 – Do not be amazed that I said to you, `You must be born from above [anothen]

John 3:8 – The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit [born from above].

The words of Nicodemus in John 3:4 show that he misunderstands the word “anothen” as “again”, that’s why he says, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”

Christ’s statement, “that which is born of flesh is flesh” in John 3:6 is referring to what Nicodemus asks Christ in John 3:4,

The statement, “that which is born of flesh is flesh”, is referring to being born of man and woman (natural birth),

by the statement, “that which is born of flesh is flesh”, Christ is showing Nicodemus that a person that is born of natural birth cannot see the kingdom of God, which shows Nicodemus that Christ  meant “from above”, and not “again”, when he said “anothen”.

The statement, “that which is born of Spirit is spirit” in John 3:6 shows Nicodemus that Christ is talking about a spiritual birth, and that shows Nicodemus that Christ meant “from above”, and not “again”, when he said “anothen” in the statement “unless one is born anothen he cannot see the kingdom of God”.

Christ was the first man to be born of the Holy Spirit, therefore Christ was the first man to be born from above, all who God baptizes in the Holy Spirit are a new creation, they are born from above, they are not born again.

No one has to say anything to be born from above, John 3:8 confirms that truth.

To be born from above, a person must first believe Yeshua is the Messiah, and then, God willing, God will baptize the person in the Holy Spirit, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is what makes a person born from above.

A person that is born from above is someone that believes Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practices sin, it is the baptism in the Holy Spirit that makes a person no longer practice sin, that is why a person must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to be born of God.

Only those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin are born from above

A Christian is someone that is born from above.

1 John 5:1 Whosoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born from above].

1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God [born from above] practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born from above].

1 John 5:18 – We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

1 Cor 3:17 Doesn’t Say God Will Destroy Anyone that’s Born Of The Spirit

1 Cor. 3:17 says, “God will destroy anyone that teaches those who are born of the Spirit, false.”

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “1 Cor. 3:17 says, if you are born of the Spirit, and you smoke, or get a tattoo, that God will destroy you”, that teaching doesn’t agree with the Bible.

When it comes to reading the Bible, it is important to understand that the Bible doesn’t contradict itself, if one verse says that no one born of the Spirit can be taken away from God, then another verse can’t say someone that is born of the Spirit can be taken away from God.

Ephesians 1:13-14 & 1 Peter 1:3-5 make it very clear that those who God baptizes in the Holy Spirit, can never be taken away from God. Those who God baptizes in the Holy Spirit are born from above (born of the Spirit).

Eph 1:13 – In him [Eashoa the Christ] you [the Ephesians] also who have heard the word of truth, the glad tidings (gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in {and} adhered to {and} relied on Eashoa the Christ, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.

Eph 1:14 – That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption {and} our acquiring [complete] possession of it–to the praise of His glory.

1 Peter 1:3 – Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Eashoa the Christ! By His boundless mercy we have been born from above to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Eashoa the Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:4 – to {obtain} an inheritance {which is} imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

1 Peter 1:5 – Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by God’s power through faith [God’s divine persuasion] [till you fully inherit that final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time.

Now, since Ephesians 1:13-14 & 1 Peter 1:3-5 say no one born of the Spirit can be taken away from God, then 1 Cor. 3:17 is not saying God will destroy anyone who is born of the Spirit.

In 1 Cor. 3:10 Paul says that he is the one that God has used to teach the Corinthians, but now someone else is teaching them, then Paul goes on to say that if the man that is now teaching the Corinthian church doesn’t teach the truth, that he is corrupting God’s temple, and God will destroy anyone that corrupts His temple by false teaching.

In 1 Cor. 3:16, Paul teaches the Corinthians that they are God’s temple,

then in 1 Cor. 3:17, Paul says if anyone causes harm to God’s temple by teaching God’s temple false, that God will destroy the false teacher.

1 Cor. 3:10 – According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a skillful architect {and} master builder I laid [the] foundation, and now another [man] is building upon it. But let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it,

1 Cor. 3:16 – Do you not discern {and} understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?

1 Cor. 3:17 – If anyone does hurt to God’s temple {or} corrupts it [with false doctrines] {or} destroys it, God will do hurt to him {and} bring him to the corruption of death {and} destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing church and its individual believers] are.

To be born of the Spirit, a person has to believe that God’s Son, Eashoa is the Messiah (the Christ), and then God willing, God will baptize the person in the Holy Spirit, it is the baptism in the Holy Spirit that makes a person stop practicing sin, only those who believe Eashoa is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are Christian (born of the Spirit).

No one has to say a prayer, confess sin, or be water baptized to be born of the Spirit.

1 Jn 5:1 – Whoever believes that Eashoa is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9 – No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18 – We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [the Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of God preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “1 Cor. 3:17 says, if you are born of the Spirit, and you smoke, or get a tattoo, that God will destroy you”, but that teaching doesn’t agree with the Bible.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say,”God will destroy anyone that is born of the Spirit”, because that doesn’t agree with what the Bible says. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that doesn’t agree with what the Bible says.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that doesn’t agree with the truth that is written in the Bible, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Rom 8:14 – For all who are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit] are the children of God.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say it is ok for there to be different denominations in the church, that it is ok for a Christian to believe something different than what another Christian believes, but the Bible does not support different denominations in the church, 1 Corinthians 1:10 says that the church is supposed to believe the same thing.

1 Cor. 1:10 – But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Eashoa the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

A Christian doesn’t believe, we are in”the last days”, here is a link to my post that will show why we are not in the “last days” https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/2014/09/20/we-are-not-in-the-last-days/

The New Testament makes it very clear that just because someone believes Eashoa is the Christ that that doesn’t mean that the person is born of the Spirit, here is a link to my post that will show why all who believe Eashoa is the Christ aren’t made alive in Christ (born of the Spirit) https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/all-who-believe-in-christ-arent-made-alive-in-christ/

The Holy Spirit Transforms The Mind

The New Testament was written by people who were led by the Spirit, for people who are born of the Spirit, therefore the words that are in the New Testament aren’t words for the flesh, they are words for the Spirit.

When the author of Philippians says, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”, the author is not saying that to the flesh, the author is saying that to the Spirit, the next verse, Phil 2:13 confirms that truth,

Phil 2:13  for it is God [by the Holy Spirit] which works in you [who are born of the Spirit] both to will and to do of the good pleasure.

The Holy Spirit is the mind of Christ (the Messiah) (1 Cor 2:16). The Holy Spirit transforms the way those who are born of the Spirit, think (Rom 12:2), so when someone speaks by the Spirit, the words that are spoken open the mind of those who are born of the Spirit, and make those who are born of the Spirit think in a different way.

1 Cor 2:16  For who has known {or} understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide {and} instruct him {and} give him knowledge? But we [who are born of the Spirit] have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) {and} do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of his heart.

Rom 12:2  Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you [who are born of the Spirit] may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, {even} the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

For example, if someone led by the Spirit says, “no one born of the Spirit will commit adultery”, that truth will enter the mind of those who are born of the Spirit, and that truth will change the mind of those who are born of the Spirit, and they will not commit adultery, because the Holy Spirit that lives in those who are born of the Spirit, protects those who are born of the Spirit from the flesh that makes a person sin.

Now, if someone reads the Bible by the flesh, then the person will think that the words are speaking to the flesh, and then will assume that the Bible teaches that everyone has the freewill to do what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to do, that is why people teach false.

The Bible, specifically the New Testament was not written to the world (the flesh), it was written to those who are born from above (the church). The Bible does not contradict itself, if one verse says, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” and another verse says that it is God who works in those who are born from above, then clearly the one verse that says, “work out your own salvation by fear and trembling” is not saying, it’s up to you by freewill to work out your own salvation by fear and trembling.

The New Testament makes it very clear that it is God, by the Holy Spirit that makes those who are born of the Spirit (born from above), obey God. The New Testament makes it very clear that there is nothing anyone can do to be born from above.

Titus 3:5  He [God] saved us [those who are born of the Spirit], not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity {and} mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:6  whom He poured out upon us richly through Yeshua Christ our Savior

The Holy Spirit is what makes those who are born of the Spirit a new creation, those who are born from above still have the flesh, but the Holy Spirit protects those who are born from above from the flesh, and that’s why those who are born from above do not practice sin.

1 Jn 5:1  Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9  No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18  We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of the Spirit preserves him who is born of God against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Christ Said “Born Again”

The Greek word “anothen” in Jn 3:3 & 3:7 means both “from above” and “again.” Christ means “from above” (see Jn 3:31) but Nicodemus misunderstands it as “again.” This misunderstanding serves as a springboard for further instruction.

John 3:31 – He [Christ] who comes from above [anothen] is above all.

Christ was the first man to be born of the Holy Spirit, therefore Christ was the first man to be born from above, all who God baptizes in the Holy Spirit are a new creation, they are born from above, they are not born again.

John 3:3 – Christ answered and said to Nicodemus, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above [anothen] he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:6 – That which is born of the flesh is flesh [natural birth, born of man & woman], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit [spiritual birth]

John 3:7 – Do not be amazed that I said to you, `You must be born from above [anothen]”

John 3:8 – The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit [born from above].

The words of Nicodemus in John 3:4 show that he misunderstands the word “anothen” as “again, that’s why he says, “How can a man be born when he is old?

For over 18 years I told people that they had to be born again to be a child of God, because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian teach. Thank God for the Holy Spirit that reveals the truth, otherwise I would still be speaking the false teaching of man, once the Holy Spirit showed me the truth, I stopped telling people that they had to born again to be a child of God.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say,”a person must be born again to be a child of God”, because that does not agree with what the Messiah said. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that does not agree with what the Messiah said.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that does not agree with the truth that is written in the Bible, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Demons Are Fallen Angels

In the Greek New Testament, angels are always masculine gender, now if demons are fallen angels, then demons would be masculine gender, but demons are neuter gender, that proves the truth that demons aren’t fallen angels.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “demons are fallen angels”, but the Bible does not agree with that teaching.

In the New Testament, the Greek word for the word “devils”, “unclean spirits” and “evil spirits” is neuter gender, and the Greek word for “angel” & “devil” is masculine gender, if fallen angels were demons, then they would be masculine, not neuter.

In Mark 1:23-26, the unclean spirit (verse 23), in the man, is neuter gender, in verse 25, “Yeshua rebuked him (masculine singular), saying, hold thy peace, and come out of him (masculine singular), verse 26 “and when the unclean spirit had torn him (masculine), and cried with a loud voice, came out of him (masculine).

The Greek word “akathartos” for the word “unclean” means “tainted by sin.” “devils” are unclean spirits, unclean spirits are a result of sin, the flesh is under the power of sin (Romans 7:17-25) that’s where demons come from, that truth is confirmed in James 3:16.

James 3:16 For where envying & strife (self seeking exist) there is confusion & every evil work.

In Luke 4:33 it says the man had a spirit of an unclean devil (demon), the words “unclean devil (demon)” are neuter.

Mark 1:23-26 And there was in their synagogue a man [masculine] with an unclean spirit [neuter]; and he cried out,

:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Yeshua of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

25 And Yeshua rebuked him [masculine], saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him [masculine].

:26 And when the unclean spirit [neuter] had torn him [masculine], and cried with a loud voice, [he] came out of him.

In the Greek text, the Stephanus Textus Receptus (1550 with accents), it does not say “he came out of him.” the translators added the word “he”, the unclean spirit cannot be a “he” because it is neuter gender, which means the man was not possessed by a fallen angel, he was possessed by the unclean spirit that was inside of him.

Yeshua rebuked the man, not the unclean spirit, unclean spirits are the result of sin, that truth is confirmed by what Yeshua says in Mark 7:21-23.

Mark 7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “demons are fallen angels” because that doesn’t agree with the truth that is written in the Bible.  No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that does not agree with the truth that is written in the Bible.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that is not true, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit], they are the children of God.

1 Cor. 1:10 – But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Yeshua Is The Name Above All Names

There’s more than one “Yeshua” in the bible, so Yeshua can’t be the name that’s above every name that God gave His Son, the name that’s above every name, is the name “Christ” (Matt 24:5)

For those who don’t know, the word “Christ” means “the Messiah”

Matt 24:5 – For many shall come in my name, saying I am the Messiah

Phil 2:9-10 – God highly exalted him [Yeshua] and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Yeshua [the name of Yeshua is Messiah] every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Yeshua Messiah is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

In order for a person to be born of God, a person must believe that God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah, no one has to believe in the name “Yeshua” to be born of God.

Jn 20:31 – these have been written that you might believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God and that believing you might have life in his name

The statement “in his name” in John 20:31 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name “Yeshua”

1 Jn 5:1 – Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9 – No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18 – We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of God preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

A Christian is someone that believes Yeshua is the Messiah, that no longer practices sin.

A Christian is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “a person has to believe in the name Yeshua to be Christian” because that isn’t the name that is above every name that God gave His Son. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that is not the true.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe In The Name Jesus

The letter “J”didn’t exist during the time of the Apostles, therefore they never said the name Jesus, they never said you have to say a prayer to be born of the Spirit, & they never said anyone can choose Christ by freewill, that means that the gospel that is preached in the world today isn’t the same gospel that the Apostles preached.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “Jesus is the name of God’s Son”, but that teaching can’t be true because the Apostles never said the name “Jesus”.

John 3:8 – The wind blows where it wills. You hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. That’s the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

John 6:65 – no one can come to me (the Messiah) unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.

John 1:12-13 – But to as many as did receive {and} welcome him [the Messiah], he gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) his name–

1:13 – Who owe their birth neither to bloods [natural birth, born of man & woman] nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

The statement, “believe in his name” in John 1:12 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name “Yeshua”, no one has to believe in the name “Yeshua” to be born of God.

Gal 1:8 – though we, or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than that which we preached to you, let him be accursed

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Jesus is the name of God’s Son” because that isn’t the truth that God had the Apostles speak. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that God didn’t have the Apostles speak.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what God had the Apostles speak, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe In Water Baptism

John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5).

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “a person has to be water baptized to be Christian”, that teaching does not agree with what the Bible says.

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord [Yeshua the Messiah], one faith, one baptism.

According to Eph 4:5 there is only one baptism, so baptism is either water baptism or the Holy Spirit. Acts 11:16-18 makes it very clear that water baptism is not the repentance that leads to life, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:18).

Acts 11:15-16 And as I [Peter] began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them [the Gentiles], just as he did upon us at the beginning.

11:16 – And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he used to say, John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

11:17 – Therefore if God gave to them the same gift [the Holy Spirit] as {He gave} to us also after believing in the Lord Yeshua the Messiah who was I that I could stand in God’s way?

11:18 – When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance {that leads} to life.”

1 Corinthians 12:13 – For by one Spirit [the Holy Spirit] are we [those who are born of the Spirit] all baptized into one body

A Christian is someone that is baptized in the Holy Spirit, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is what makes a person born of the Spirit, without the baptism in the Holy Spirit, no one is born of God.

The teaching that says a person must be water baptized to receive the Holy Spirit is false, the teaching that says a Christian should be water baptized is false, no one has to be water baptized to receive the Holy Spirit.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “a person has to be water baptized to be Christian”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Christ Died For Everyone

Jn 10:15 As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

In John 10:15, the Messiah specifically says that he is going to die for the sheep, the sheep are the Jews and the Gentiles that are born of the Spirit, the Jews and the Gentiles that are born of the Spirit are the people that believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin.

Matthew 25:33 And he [the Messiah] shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he [the Messiah] say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil [the devil is the natural man (the flesh)] and his angels [the devil’s angels are those who are led by the flesh]:

It is often said that the Messiah (Christ) died for everyone, but that teaching doesn’t agree with what the Messiah said who he would die for.

The Messiah did not die for Judas, therefore the Messiah did not die for everyone, the “whole world” that is spoken of in 1 John 2:2, are the Jews and the Gentiles that believe Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Christ died for everyone”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe The Devil Is A Fallen Angel

Jn 6:70 have not I chosen you twelve & one of you is a devil (false accuser)? Christ spoke of Judas, for it was he that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

The Greek word for “devil” means “false accuser” & the Greek word for “satan” means “adversary”, anyone that accuses someone of something that is false, is a devil, & anyone that is an adversary, is  satan.

Christ called Judas a devil because Judas was going to betray him, the fact that Christ called Judas a devil proves the truth that the devil is the flesh (man), not a fallen angel.

In Matthew 16:23, Christ called Peter, “satan” because Peter was speaking from the flesh, the flesh is the carnal mind, the mind of man is hostile to God (Romans 8:5-8)

Matthew 16:23 – But Christ turned away from Peter and said to him, Get behind me, satan [adversary]! You are in my way [an offense and a hindrance and a snare to me]; for you are minding what partakes not of the nature {and} quality of God, but of men.

Romans 8:5-8 – For those who are according to the flesh {and} are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on {and} pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit {and} are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on {and} seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

8:6 – Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

8:7 – [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

8:8 – So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please {or} satisfy God, {or} be acceptable to Him.

In the world today there is a large group of people that claim to be Christian that say, “the devil is a fallen angel”, that teaching does not agree with John 6:70-71 & Matthew 16:23.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “the devil is a fallen angel”, because the Bible does not say that.
