A Christian Doesn’t Believe In The Name Jesus

The letter “J”didn’t exist during the time of the Apostles, therefore they never said the name Jesus, they never said you have to say a prayer to be born of the Spirit, & they never said anyone can choose Christ by freewill, that means that the gospel that is preached in the world today isn’t the same gospel that the Apostles preached.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “Jesus is the name of God’s Son”, but that teaching can’t be true because the Apostles never said the name “Jesus”.

John 3:8 – The wind blows where it wills. You hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. That’s the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

John 6:65 – no one can come to me (the Messiah) unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.

John 1:12-13 – But to as many as did receive {and} welcome him [the Messiah], he gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) his name–

1:13 – Who owe their birth neither to bloods [natural birth, born of man & woman] nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

The statement, “believe in his name” in John 1:12 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name “Yeshua”, no one has to believe in the name “Yeshua” to be born of God.

Gal 1:8 – though we, or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than that which we preached to you, let him be accursed

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Jesus is the name of God’s Son” because that isn’t the truth that God had the Apostles speak. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that God didn’t have the Apostles speak.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what God had the Apostles speak, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit], they are the children of God.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say it is ok for there to be different denominations in the church, that it is ok for a Christian to believe something different than what another Christian believes, but the Bible does not support different denominations in the church, 1 Corinthians 1:10 says that the church is supposed to believe the same thing.

1 Cor. 1:10 – But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe In Water Baptism

John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5).

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “a person has to be water baptized to be Christian”, that teaching does not agree with what the Bible says.

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord [Yeshua the Messiah], one faith, one baptism.

According to Eph 4:5 there is only one baptism, so baptism is either water baptism or the Holy Spirit. Acts 11:16-18 makes it very clear that water baptism is not the repentance that leads to life, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:18).

Acts 11:15-16 And as I [Peter] began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them [the Gentiles], just as he did upon us at the beginning.

11:16 – And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he used to say, John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

11:17 – Therefore if God gave to them the same gift [the Holy Spirit] as {He gave} to us also after believing in the Lord Yeshua the Messiah who was I that I could stand in God’s way?

11:18 – When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance {that leads} to life.”

1 Corinthians 12:13 – For by one Spirit [the Holy Spirit] are we [those who are born of the Spirit] all baptized into one body

A Christian is someone that is baptized in the Holy Spirit, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is what makes a person born of the Spirit, without the baptism in the Holy Spirit, no one is born of God.

The teaching that says a person must be water baptized to receive the Holy Spirit is false, the teaching that says a Christian should be water baptized is false, no one has to be water baptized to receive the Holy Spirit.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “a person has to be water baptized to be Christian”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Christ Died For Everyone

Jn 10:15 As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

In John 10:15, the Messiah specifically says that he is going to die for the sheep, the sheep are the Jews and the Gentiles that are born of the Spirit, the Jews and the Gentiles that are born of the Spirit are the people that believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin.

Matthew 25:33 And he [the Messiah] shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he [the Messiah] say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil [the devil is the natural man (the flesh)] and his angels [the devil’s angels are those who are led by the flesh]:

It is often said that the Messiah (Christ) died for everyone, but that teaching doesn’t agree with what the Messiah said who he would die for.

The Messiah did not die for Judas, therefore the Messiah did not die for everyone, the “whole world” that is spoken of in 1 John 2:2, are the Jews and the Gentiles that believe Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Christ died for everyone”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe The Devil Is A Fallen Angel

Jn 6:70 have not I chosen you twelve & one of you is a devil (false accuser)? Christ spoke of Judas, for it was he that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

The Greek word for “devil” means “false accuser” & the Greek word for “satan” means “adversary”, anyone that accuses someone of something that is false, is a devil, & anyone that is an adversary, is  satan.

Christ called Judas a devil because Judas was going to betray him, the fact that Christ called Judas a devil proves the truth that the devil is the flesh (man), not a fallen angel.

In Matthew 16:23, Christ called Peter, “satan” because Peter was speaking from the flesh, the flesh is the carnal mind, the mind of man is hostile to God (Romans 8:5-8)

Matthew 16:23 – But Christ turned away from Peter and said to him, Get behind me, satan [adversary]! You are in my way [an offense and a hindrance and a snare to me]; for you are minding what partakes not of the nature {and} quality of God, but of men.

Romans 8:5-8 – For those who are according to the flesh {and} are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on {and} pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit {and} are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on {and} seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

8:6 – Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

8:7 – [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

8:8 – So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please {or} satisfy God, {or} be acceptable to Him.

In the world today there is a large group of people that claim to be Christian that say, “the devil is a fallen angel”, that teaching does not agree with John 6:70-71 & Matthew 16:23.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “the devil is a fallen angel”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

A Christian Doesn’t Believe Anyone Is Tempted By A Fallen Angel

James 1:14 everyone is tempted when he or she is drawn away, enticed {and} baited by his or her own desire.

In the world today there is a large group of people that claim to be Christian that say, “everyone is tempted by a fallen angel”, that teaching does not agree with James 1:14.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “everyone is tempted by a fallen angel”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

A Christian Does Not Believe The Holy Spirit Is God

The Holy Spirit isn’t God, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. Rom 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God

1 Corinthians 2:12 – Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize {and} comprehend {and} appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 – For God has not called us to impurity but to consecration [to dedicate ourselves to the most thorough purity].

1 Thessalonians 4:8 – Therefore whoever disregards (sets aside and rejects this) disregards not man but God, Whose [very] Spirit [Whom] He gives to you is holy (chaste, pure).

Acts 5:3-4 is often used to say the Holy Spirit is God, but those verses are not saying that.

A person that is born from above has the Holy Spirit living inside him or her, therefore if someone lies to a person that is born from above, the person is not lying to the person that is born from above, the person is lying to the Holy Spirit that lives inside the person that is born from above, and since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the person is lying to God, that’s what Acts 5:3-4 is saying.

Acts 5:3-4 – But Peter said, “Ananias, why has satan [the adversary] filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back {some} of the price of the land?

5:4 – While it remained {unsold,} did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.

Since Peter was born from above, Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit that lived in Peter, and since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, Ananias lied to God.

Also Acts 5:4 proves the truth that satan is man, not a fallen angel. The idea to lie about the price of the land was conceived in the heart of Ananias, therefore the satan (adversary) that is spoken of in Acts 5:3 is not a fallen angel, the satan is Ananias, Ananias was led by the flesh, satan is the flesh.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “the Holy Spirit is God”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

A Christian Does Not Believe In Freewill

Jn 6:65 no one can come to me (the Messiah) unless it is granted him (unless he is enabled to do so) by the Father.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 – if anyone teaches otherwise and does not assent to the sound {and} wholesome messages of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and the teaching which is in agreement with godliness (piety toward God),

6:4 – He is puffed up with pride {and} stupefied with conceit, [although he is] woefully ignorant. He has a morbid fondness for controversy and disputes {and} strife about words, which result in (produce) envy {and} jealousy, quarrels {and} dissension, abuse {and} insults {and} slander, and base suspicions,

6:5 – And protracted wrangling {and} wearing discussion {and} perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness {or} righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. {From such withdraw.}

Romans 16:17-18 – I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties {and} cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them.

16:18 – For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites {and} base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting {and} simpleminded [people].

2 John 1:9-11 – Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what he taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.

1:10 – If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [is disloyal to what Yeshua the Messiah taught], do not receive him [do not accept him, do not welcome or admit him] into [your] house or bid him Godspeed {or} give him any encouragement.

1:11 – For he who wishes him success [who encourages him, wishing him Godspeed] is a partaker in his evil doings.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “God gave man freewill to accept Christ”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not children of God.

John 6:65 no one can come to me (the Messiah) unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.

1 John 5:1 – Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God.

1 John 3:9 – No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God.

1 John 5:18 – We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

Another belief that a Christian does not believe in is, the belief that says, “Christ is God”, here is a link to my post entitled “A Christian Does Not Believe Christ Is God” that will show why a Christian does not believe Christ is God https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/a-christian-doesnt-believe-christ-is-god/

A Christian Does Not Believe Christ Is God

John 20:31 these are written that you may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God & that believing you may have life in his name. 1 Jn 5:1 Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God.

For those who don’t know, “Christ” means “Messiah”

The statement, “in his name” in John 20:31 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name Yeshua, no one has to believe in the name “Yeshua” to be born of God, a person has to believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah to be born of God, 1 John 5:1 confirms that truth.

In the world today there is a large group of people that claim to be Christian that say, “in order for a person to be Christian, he or she has to believe Christ is God”, but the Bible does not agree with that teaching, the Bible says that a person has to believe Christ is the Son of God, to be Christian. The Son of God is not God, the New Testament makes that very clear.

I was born of the Spirit 19yrs ago, but for 18 of those yrs God allowed me to be deceived by false teaching, for 18yrs I believed Christ is God because that is what I was taught by the majority of people that claim to be Christian, it was only after God removed me from the false church that God, by the Holy Spirit that dwells in me, showed me the truth. After the Holy Spirit showed me the truth I no longer believed Christ is God.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “a person has to believe Christ is God, to be Christian”, because the Bible does not say that.

A Christian Does Not Fight The Government

First off, the Constitution is the government of the United States Of America, therefore if any leader goes against the Constitution, then that leader does not have to be obeyed. That is the difference between the USA & other countries. It took me years to realize that truth. If a citizen of the USA doesn’t follow the Constitution, then that person is fighting the government of the USA, Romans 13 obviously was written many years before the Constitution was written.

Now that said, I still believe God makes those in authority do what they do, but the Constitution is what is to be obeyed above all else here in the USA. So, if you are reading this, & you are a citizen of the USA, please keep that in mind when you read this post about Romans 13. (updated 8/08/2023 9:19pm).

Rom 13:1-2 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Romans 13 makes it very clear that it is God that establishes the government, which means that if someone that claims to be Christian fights the government, that the person is fighting God.

In the world today, there are many people that claim to be Christian that constantly go against the government, they are constantly fighting what God makes the government do. Romans 13:2 says that those people will receive condemnation upon themselves.

I was born of the Spirit 19yrs ago, but for 18 of those yrs God allowed me to be deceived by the false church. I was never taught about Romans 13, instead I was told that a Christian is supposed to go against the government when the government doesn’t do something Biblical, that teaching is the exact opposite of what Romans 13 says a Christian is supposed to do.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Spirit, no one led by the Spirit will ever do the opposite of what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to do. A person led by the Spirit will never fight the government, because the Spirit never fights God, which means that  the people that claim to be Christian that fight the government are led by the flesh, no one led by the flesh is a child of God.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God.

Romans 13:1-2 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

No One Born Of The Spirit Has To Go To Bible College

The anointing you received from him (the Holy Spirit) abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. Instead, because his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not a lie, abide in him, as he taught you to do.(1 Jn 2:27)

Those who say, “God’s people have to go to Bible college in order to teach the truth that is in the Bible”, don’t speak the truth.

1 Cor. 1:27-29 – for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame

1:28 – And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn {and} insignificant and branded {and} treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose {and} bring to nothing the things that are,

1:29 – So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God.

1 John 2:26-27 – I write this to you with reference to those who would deceive you [seduce and lead you astray].

2:27 – The anointing you received from him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. Instead, because his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not a lie, abide in him, as he taught you to do.

John 16:13 – But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce {and} declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].

Those who say, “God’s people have to go to Bible college in order to teach the truth that is in the Bible”, don’t speak the truth.

Bible college is a place that is used to indoctrinate people about false beliefs that man has made up about the Bible. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say a person has to go to Bible college to teach the truth that is in the Bible, all a person needs is the Holy Spirit to teach the truth that is in the Bible.

Bible Colleges, just like many churches are nothing but greedy businesses speaking lies in order to make a lot of money from people that have been deceived into thinking that they are being taught the truth.
