Col 1:23 Proves The New Testament Wasn’t Written About Our Time Period

“Be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven” (Col 1:23)

Col 1:23 says that the gospel was preached to every creature under heaven, therefore the command in the New Testament to preach the gospel had been fulfilled by the time Colossians was written

The gospel had to be preached to the Roman world and then the end of the age (Matt 24:3) would happen, that’s what Matt 24:14 is saying. Matt 24:14 is not saying, “the gospel has to be preached to entire planet”

The Greek word “oikoumene” for the word “world” in Matt 24:14 is referring to the Roman world, “oikoumene” is also the word that is used for the word “world” in Rev 12:9, both Matt 24:14 and Rev 12:9 are talking about the Roman world.

Matt 24:14 and Rev 12:9 are not talking about the entire planet

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon [the dragon in Rev 12:3 is Rome] was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world [oikoumene – the Roman world], he was cast out to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world [oikoumene – the Roman world] for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end [of the age] come.

The “end” that is spoken of in Matt 24:14 is the “end of the age” that is spoken of in Matt 24:3

The gospel had to be preached to the Roman world as a whole before the end of the age

The Greek word for the word “world” in Matt 24:3 is “aion” or “age”, the word “aion” or “age” is referring to a time period, the word “aion” is not referring to the entire planet

Matthew 24:3 And as the Messiah sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world [aion – age]?

The age that is spoken of in Matt 24:3 is the age of the law, the Mosaic age.

The end of the age happened when the temple was destroyed during the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, therefore everything in Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21:5-33 has already happened, everything in the New Testament has already happened.

Matt 24 Isn’t About The End Of The Planet

The Greek word for “whole world” in Matt 24:14 is referring to the Roman world, it’s not referring to the planet, therefore Matt 24 isn’t talking about the end of the planet.

In the world today there are many people who claim to be Christian that say, “Matthew 24:14 says the gospel has to be preached to everyone on the planet and then the end of the world will come”, but the Bible does not agree with that teaching.

Colossians 1:23 says the gospel was preached to every creature under heaven, therefore Matthew 24:14 can’t be saying, “the gospel has to be preached to everyone on the planet”

The Greek word “oikoumene” for the words “whole world” in Matt 24:14 is referring to the Roman world, so what Matthew 24:14 is saying is, “the gospel has to be preached to the Romans world and then the end will come”

Colossians 1:23 confirms that the gospel was preached to the Roman world by the time that the book of Colossians was written.

The “end” that is spoken of Matthew 24:14 is not the end of the world, the “end” that is spoken of in Matthew 24:14 is the end of the age.

The Greek word for the word “world” in Matt 24:3 is “aion” or “age”, the word “aion” or “age” is referring to a time period, the word “aion” is not referring to the entire planet.

Matthew 24:3 – And as the Messiah sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world [aion – age]?

The gospel had to be preached to the Roman world and then the end of the age would happen, that’s what Matt 24:14 is saying.

The Greek word “oikoumene” for the word “world” in Matt 24:14 is also the word that is used for the words “whole world” in Rev 12:9, both Matt 24:14 and Rev 12:9 are talking about the Roman world. Matt 24:14 and Rev 12:9 are not talking about the entire planet.

The “end” that is spoken of in Matt 24:14 is the “end of the age” that is spoken of in Matt 24:3.

The gospel had to be preached to the Roman world as a whole before the end of the age.

After the gospel was preached to the Roman world, then the end of the age happened, the “tribulation” that is spoken of in Matthew 24:21 happened when Jerusalem was destroyed, Jerusalem was destroyed in 70AD. The end of the age that is spoken of in Matthew 24:3, is the end of the age of the law, that age ended when the temple was destroyed in 70AD.

Matt 24:21 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be

Matt 24:34 – Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

Col 1:23 – Be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which was preached to every creature under heaven

Colossians 1:23 confirms that the gospel had already been preached to the Roman world by the time that the book of Colossians was written, therefore the “tribulation” that is spoken of in Matthew 24:21 has already happened, it happened after the gospel was preached to the Roman world.

The statement, “this generation will not pass until all these things take place” in Matthew 24:34 is referring to the time period of the disciples, it is not referring to our time period, we are not that generation, we are not in the “last days”.

Since Colossians 1:23 says the gospel was preached to every creature under heaven, that means everything in Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21:5-33 has already happened.

There is nothing in the New Testament that says the gospel has to be preached in the world today, there is nothing in the New Testament that says the Bible was written for this time period.

Matthew 24:14 says the gospel has to be preached to the Roman world and then the end of the age will come, the end of the age happened when the temple was destroyed, the temple was destroyed in 70AD, therefore everything that the Messiah says in Matthew 24:14 has already happened.

There is a verse in the book of Revelation that talks about the tribulation, that verse is Rev 7:14. Rev 7:14 proves Revelation was written before 70AD & that means that everything in Revelation has already happened, here is a link to my post that show that Revelation was not written for time period https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/revelation-was-written-before-70ad/

In the world today there are many people who claim to be Christian that say, “Matthew 24:14 says the gospel has to be preached to everyone on the planet and then the end of the world will come”, but the Bible does not agree with that teaching.

A Christian is someone who is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say,”Matthew 24 is about the end of the planet”, because that does not agree with what the Bible says. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that does not agree with what the Bible says.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that does not agree with the truth that is written in the Bible, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:14 – For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

In the world today there are many people who claim to be Christian that say it is ok for there to be different denominations in the church, that it is ok for a Christian to believe something different from what another Christian believes, but the Bible does not support different denominations in the church, 1 Corinthians 1:10 says that the church is supposed to believe the same thing.

1 Cor. 1:10 – But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

Jn 17:21 Proves Christ Isn’t God

Jn 17:21 says the church is one with God & Christ, just as Christ is one with God, Jn 17:21 proves the statement, “Christ & God are one,” doesn’t mean Christ is God.

Jn 17:21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe {and} be convinced that You have sent me.

Eph 4:6 says God is in all who are born from above (born of the Spirit), God was in Christ by the Holy Spirit that lived in Christ, and God is in those who are born from above, by the Holy Spirit that lives them, it is the Holy Spirit that made Christ and God “one”, and it is the Holy Spirit that makes those who are born from above, one with God and Christ.

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of [us] all, Who is above all [Sovereign over all], pervading all and [living] in [us] all [in all who are born from above].

1 Tim 3:16 And great {and} important {and} weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified {and} vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.

1 Tim 3:16 doesn’t say, “Christ is God”, 1 Tim 3:16 says, “God was in Christ”, God was made visible in human flesh through what God made Christ do, those who saw Christ, saw God by the works that God made Christ do, that’s what 1 Tim 3:16 is saying.

If 1 Tim 3:16 is saying, “Christ is God”, then 2 Cor 5:19 would have to say, “God was Christ. “The Bible doesn’t contradict itself, if one verse says, “God was in Christ”, then no verse says, “Christ is God.”

2 Cor. 5:19 God was in Christ reconciling the [chosen] world unto Himself.

Jn 10:37 If I am not doing the works [performing the deeds] of my Father, then do not believe me [do not adhere to me and trust me and rely on me].

Jn 10:38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me {or} have faith in me, [at least] believe the works {and} have faith in what I do, in order that you may know and understand [clearly] that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father [One with Him].

Now, remember, Jn 17:21 says the church is one with God and Christ, just as Christ is one with God, which means Christ isn’t saying he is God in Jn 10:38.

Jn 17:21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe {and} be convinced that You have sent me.

Jn 12:44 But Yeshua loudly declared, The one who believes in me [believes he is the Messiah] does not [only] believe in {and} trust in {and} rely on me, but [in believing in me he believes] in Him Who sent me.

Jn 12:45 And whoever sees me sees Him Who sent me.

Jn 20:28 Thomas answered Christ, My Lord and my God!

The reason why Thomas said, “my Lord and my God” to Christ in Jn 20:28 is because Thomas saw God in Christ, Thomas was saying to Christ, what Christ said in Jn 12:45, to show Christ that he (Thomas) believed in Him [God] Who sent Christ, those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah, believe in God, Jn 20:28 is confirming what Christ said in Jn 12:44.

Thomas is not saying, “Christ is God” in Jn 20:28.

The Bible doesn’t agree with the teaching that says, “Christ is God.” No one has to believe Christ is God to be Christian.

The Biblical definition of a Christian is, someone that believes Yeshua is the Messiah that doesn’t practice sin, only those who believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah (Christ), that stop practicing sin are born of God (Christian).

1 Jn 5:1 Whoever believes that Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9 No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of the Spirit preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

Jn 10:26 Proves Christ Didn’t Die For Everyone

The Bible doesn’t agree with the teaching that says, “Christ died for everyone.”

Jn 10:24  So the Jews surrounded him and began asking him, How long are you going to keep us in doubt {and} suspense? If you are really the Christ (the Messiah), tell us so plainly {and} openly.

Jn 10:25   Yeshua answered them, I have told you so, yet you do not believe me [you do not trust me {and} rely on me]. The very works that I do by the power of my Father {and} in my Father’s name bear witness concerning me [they are my credentials and evidence in support of me].

Jn 10:26  But you do not believe {and} trust {and} rely on me because you do not belong to my fold [you are no sheep of mine].

Jn 10:27  The sheep that are my own hear {and} are listening to my voice; and I know them, and they follow me.

Jn 10:28  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it {or} perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of my hand.

Jn 10:29  My Father, Who has given them to me, is greater {and} mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand.

Matt 1:21 She (Mary) will bear a son; and you shall call his name Savior, for he will save his people from their sins.

Jn 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

Jn 10:15  As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Jn 6:65  No one can come to me [Christ] unless it has been granted from the Father.

1 Tim 6:3  if anyone teaches otherwise and does not assent to the sound {and} wholesome messages of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah (Christ) and the teaching which is in agreement with godliness (piety toward God),

1 Tim 6:4  He is puffed up with pride {and} stupefied with conceit, [although he is] woefully ignorant. He has a morbid fondness for controversy and disputes {and} strife about words, which result in (produce) envy {and} jealousy, quarrels {and} dissension, abuse {and} insults {and} slander, and base suspicions,

1 Tim 6:5  And protracted wrangling {and} wearing discussion {and} perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness {or} righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. {From such withdraw.}

Rom 16:17  I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties {and} cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them.

Rom 16:18  For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites {and} base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting {and} simpleminded [people].

2 Jn 1:9  Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what he taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.

2 Jn 1:10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [is disloyal to what Yeshua the Messiah taught], do not receive him [do not accept him, do not welcome or admit him] into [your] house or bid him Godspeed {or} give him any encouragement.

2 Jn 1:11  For he who wishes him success [who encourages him, wishing him Godspeed] is a partaker in his evil doings.

The people who Christ saves from their sins (Matt 1:21), are the sheep that Christ says he will die for in Jn 10:11 & Jn 10:15, the sheep are the people who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practice sin.

1 Jn 5:18  We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of the Spirit preserves him who is born of the Spirit against the evil], and the wicked one [the natural man (the flesh)] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

1 Cor. 6:9  do you [those who are born of the Spirit] not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators [prostitutes], nor idolaters [an image worshiper], nor adulterers [a man who is guilty with a married woman, a man who lusts after (covets) another man’s wife], nor effeminate [a man who submits his body to unnatural lewdness], nor homosexuals [any person engaging in same-gender sexual activity],

1 Cor. 6:10  nor thieves [a thief in secret, rather than in the open with violence, an embezzler, a pilferer] nor {the} covetous [greedy of gain, a defrauder, trampling on the rights of others], nor drunkards, nor revilers [reproach (reviling) , injuring another’s reputation by denigrating, abusive insults] nor swindlers [a robber,  an extortioner] will inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal. 5:19  Now the deeds of the flesh [the natural man] are evident, which are: immorality [fornication, whoredom, surrendering of sexual purity, any (every) type of promiscuity], impurity [in a moral sense, the impurity of lustful, luxurious, profligate living],  sensuality [lewdness],

Gal. 5:20  idolatry [image worship], sorcery [the practice of magical arts], enmities [hostility, hatred], strife [a contentious spirit, affection for dispute], jealousy [rivalry], outbursts of anger [anger that comes from the flesh, selfish anger], disputes [selfish rivalry, self-seeking], dissensions [divisions which wrongly divide people into pointless factions], factions [a self-chosen opinion, a religious or philosophical sect, discord or contention].

Gal. 5:21  envying [being glad when someone experiences misfortune or pain],  murders [intentional unjustified homicide], drunkenness [deep drinking, intoxication] carousing [unbridled sexual immorality, debauched partying] and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Christ’s Words Prove He Isn’t God

Jn 14:10 The words that I say to you I don’t speak on my own initiative, but the Father abiding in me does His works.

The Jews that were born from above never would have believed Christ was God, because they believed in one God (Eph 4:5-6).

Eph 4:5  One Lord [Yeshua the Messiah (Christ)], one faith, one baptism [baptism in the Holy Spirit]

Eph 4:6  one God and Father of all, who is over all and in all [in all who are born of the Spirit].

Yeshua Christ spoke the words of God, therefore to the Jews that believed Yeshua was the Son of God, Yeshua was God’s representative, God lived in the man Yeshua Christ by the Spirit (Jn 14:10).

Jn 14:10  Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father abiding in me does His works,

therefore those who saw Christ, saw God (Jn 10:30 & Jn 20:28),

Jn 10:30  I and the Father are one.
Jn 20:28  Thomas said to Yeshua Christ, my Lord, and my God

The words that Christ spoke were not his own words, he spoke the words that God gave him to say (Jn 7:16 & 12:49).

Jn 7:16  Christ therefore answered them and said, my teaching is not mine, but His who sent me.

Jn 12:49  For I did not speak of myself, but the Father Himself who sent me has given me commandment, what to say, and what to speak.

Since Yeshua Christ was & is the Son of God (Jn 9:35 & 20:31).  Jn 9:35 Yeshua heard that they had put him out; and finding him, Yeshua said, Do you believe in the Son of man?  Jn 20:31  these have been written that you might believe that Yeshua is the Christ (the Messiah), the Son of God and that believing, you might have life in his name.

The statement “in his name” in John 20:31 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Christ, it is not referring to believing in the name “Yeshua”,

to worship Yeshua Christ is to worship God, those that honor the Son, honor God (Jn 5:23),

Jn 5:23  In order that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father,

those that believe Yeshua is the Christ, believe in God (Jn 12:44),

Jn 12:44  And Yeshua Christ cried out and said, he who believes in me does not believe in me, but in Him who sent me.

because God sent Yeshua Christ to speak the truth to the people (Jn 8:40).

Jn 8:40  But now you seek to kill me [Christ], a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard from God.

Christ was not equal to God, Christ said God is greater than him (Jn 13:16), Jn 13:16 “Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master; neither is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him”.

& Christ said God is greater than all (Jn 10:29), Jn 10:29 “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all”.

The trinity teaching says, God, the Son & the Holy Spirit are equal, but that can’t be true because Christ said God is greater than all, & Christ said God is greater than him, the words that God had Christ say prove the truth that the trinity teaching is false.

The words that Christ said prove he isn’t God.

Lk 22:69-70 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then they all said, are you then the Son of God? And Christ said, yes, I am. Since Christ said he is the Son of God, there is absolutely no way the Apostles would ever say Christ is God.

2 Cor 5:16  Consequently, from now on we [who are born from above] estimate {and} regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint {and} as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of him that] we know him no longer [in terms of the flesh].

2 Cor 5:17  Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh {and} new has come!

2 Cor 5:18  Now all {these} things are from God, Who through Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].

2 Cor. 5:19  namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world [God’s chosen people] to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2 Cor 5:18-19 prove Jn 1:1 doesn’t say Christ is God.

Jn 1:1 English translation of the Greek text – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and God was the Word.

The Bible doesn’t contradict itself, since 2 Cor 5:19 says, “God was in Christ”, then Jn 1:1 doesn’t say, “Christ is God”.

Eph 4:6 says God lives in all who are born from above, God lives in all who are born from above by the Holy Spirit that lives in those who are born from above, just as God lived in Christ by the Holy Spirit that lived in Christ.

The Holy Spirit is what made Christ & God one, and the Holy Spirit is what makes those who are born of the Spirit, one with God and Christ.

Jn 17:21  That they all [all who believe Yeshua is the Messiah] may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe {and} be convinced that You have sent me.

Jn 8:32  you shall know the truth & the truth shall make you free – Yeshua Christ

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “Christ is God”, but the words of Christ don’t agree with that teaching.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Christ is God”, because the Bible does not say that. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something different than what the Bible says.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something different than what the Bible says a Christian is supposed to believe, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit], they are the children of God.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say it is ok for there to be different denominations in the church, that it is ok for a Christian to believe something different than what another Christian believes, but the Bible does not support different denominations in the church, 1 Corinthians 1:10 says that the church is supposed to believe the same thing.

1 Cor. 1:10  But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

1 Jn 5:7 Doesn’t Say Christ Is God

Jn 16:27  for God Himself loves you [the disciples], because you have loved me & have believed that I came forth from God. Since Christ told the disciples that he came forth from God, there is no way the disciples would ever say Christ is God.

In Jn 16:27-28 Christ says that he came forth from God. Christ is the Son of God, the Bible never says Christ is God.

Jn 16:27  for God Himself loves you [the disciples], because you have loved me & have believed that I came forth from God.

Jn 16:28  I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “1 Jn 5:7 says, Christ is God”, but the Bible doesn’t agree with that teaching.

The Spirit that lived in Christ is what came forth from the Father, Yeshua didn’t exist until he was born (Jn 1:14 & Gal 4:4), it is the Spirit of God that lived in Yeshua that made Yeshua, the Messiah (Christ). Yeshua didn’t become the word until he was born.

Gal 4:4  But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law,

Jn 1:14  And the word was made flesh [Yeshua], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Yeshua is the word, the gospel of God made flesh. The gospel of God is the gospel of Yeshua Christ. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Christ, therefore God, Yeshua Christ & the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Christ) are one.

1 Jn 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word [Yeshua Christ], and the Holy Ghost [the Spirit of Christ]: and these three are one.

Jn 8:32  you shall know the truth & the truth shall make you free – Yeshua Christ

Jn 1:1  English translation of the Greek text – In the beginning was the word and the word was with the God and God was the word.

2 Cor 5:19  God was in Christ, reconciling the world [God’s chosen people] unto Himself.

The English Bible is translated wrong in many places, Is 9:6, Philippians 2:6 and Titus 2:13 are translated wrong, and because of that wrong translation many people have been led to believe something that is false about Christ.

Here is a link to my post that will show that the English Bible did not translate Is 9:6 correctly https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/2014/08/18/the-true-meaning-of-isaiah-96/

And here is a link to my post that will show that the English Bible did not translate Titus 2:13 correctly https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/2014/08/29/the-english-bible-isnt-the-true-word-of-god/

The Bible doesn’t contradict itself, if one verse says Christ is the Son of God, then no verse in the Bible can say Christ is God. The Son of God, is not God. The Jews believed in one God, therefore they would never believe Christ is God, Ephesians 4:5-6 and 1 Cor 8:4-6 confirms that truth.

Eph 4:5  [There is] one Lord [Yeshua the Messiah], one faith, one baptism [the Holy Spirit],

Eph 4:6  One God and Father of [us] all, Who is above all [Sovereign over all], pervading all and [living] in [us] all [who are born of the Spirit].

1 Cor 8:4  In this matter, then, of eating food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing (has no real existence) and that there is no God but one.

1 Cor 8:5  For although there may be so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many of them, both of gods and of lords {and} masters,

1 Cor 8:6  Yet for us [who are born of the Spirit] there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Yeshua Christ (the Messiah), through {and} by Whom are all things and through {and} by Whom we [who are born of the Spirit] [ourselves exist].

For many years I believed the teaching that says, “Christ is God” because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian teach, that teaching does not agree with the Bible.

The New Testament writers never said Christ is God, they said Christ is the Son of God.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “Christ is God, therefore a person has to believe Christ is God to be Christian”, none of that agrees with the Bible.

Jn 20:31 These have been written that you may believe Yeshua is the Christ (the Messiah], the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in his name.

The statement “and by believing you may have life in his name” is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name “Yeshua”.

1 Jn 5:1 Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

The teaching that says, “Christ is God” is false, nobody has to believe Christ is God to be Christian, only those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are Christian.

1 Jn 3:9  No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18  We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “Christ is God, therefore a person has to believe Christ is God to be Christian”, none of that agrees with the Bible.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “Christ is God, therefore a person has to believe Christ is God to be Christian”, because that does not agree with what the Bible says.

Romans 8:13  For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.

Romans 8:14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit] are the children of God.

1 Cor. 1:10  But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

God Hasn’t Given Everyone A Measure Of Faith

2 Thess 3:2  & that we (the church) may be delivered from unreasonable & wicked men: for all men have not faith (God’s divine persuasion).

The Greek word “pistis” for the word “faith” means “be persuaded”. “Faith is always a gift from God, & never something that can be produced by people. In short “pistis” (“faith”) for the believer is ‘God’s divine persuasion’.”

The Bible doesn’t contradict itself, if one verse says, “for all men have not faith”, then no verse in the Bible can say, “God has given everyone a measure of faith.”

In order to understand who the author of Romans is talking to in Romans 12:3, one must first read Romans 12:1, Romans 12:1 makes it very clear who the author is talking to in Romans 12.

Rom 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

In Romans 12:1 the word “brethren” is referring to the church, therefore in Romans 12:3, the author is not saying, God has given everyone in the world a measure of faith, the author is saying, God has given everyone in the church a measure of faith.

Rom 12:3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you [the church], not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man [in the church] a measure of faith [God’s divine persuasion].

2 Thess 3:2 proves the truth that God has not given everyone in the world a measure of faith.

2 Thess 3:2  And that we [the church] may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith [God’s divine persuasion].

Now, it’s important to understand that just because God persuades someone to believe that His Son, Yeshua is the Messiah, that that doesn’t mean, that the person is born from above (Christian). There are many people that believe Yeshua is the Messiah but they don’t stop practicing sin, those people are not born from above, the Bible makes it very clear that a Christian is someone that believes Yeshua is the Messiah (Christ) that no longer practices sin.

1 Jn 5:1  Whoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

No one has to say a prayer, confess sin, or be water baptized to be born of the Spirit.

To be born of the Spirit (born from above), a person first has to believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah, and then, God willing, God will baptize the person in the Holy Spirit, it is the baptism in the Holy Spirit that makes a person stop practicing sin.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:16-18), without the baptism in the Holy Spirit nobody belongs to God.

Only those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit are Christian.

John 3:8  The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit [born from above].

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “God has given everyone a measure of faith”, but the Bible doesn’t agree with that teaching.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “God has given everyone a measure of faith”, because that doesn’t agree with the Bible. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that doesn’t agree with the Bible.

God Doesn’t Love Everyone Equally

Rom 9:13 Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. God didn’t love Esau the same as Jacob, so the Christian teaching that says God loves everyone equally is false.

The Greek word for “hate” in Romans 9:13 is miseó, that word means, denounce; to love someone or something less than someone (something) else, i.e. to renounce one choice in favor of another.

For many years I believed the teaching that says, “God loves everyone equally”, because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian teach, but that teaching doesn’t agree with the Bible.

Rom 9:13  As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Rom 9: 14  What shall we conclude then? Is there injustice upon God’s part? Certainly not!

Rom 9:15  For He says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion (pity) on whom I will have compassion.

Rom 9:16  So then [God’s gift] is not a question of human will and human effort, but of God’s mercy. [It depends not on one’s own willingness nor on his strenuous exertion as in running a race, but on God’s having mercy on him.]

Rom 9:17  For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, I have raised you up for this very purpose of displaying My power in [dealing with] you, so that My name may be proclaimed the whole world over.

Rom 9:18  So then God has mercy on whomever He wills (chooses) and He hardens (makes stubborn and unyielding the heart of) whomever He wills.

Rom 9:19  You will say to me, Why then does God still find fault {and} blame us [for sinning]? For who can resist {and} withstand His will?

Rom 9:20  But who are you, a mere man, to criticize {and} contradict {and} answer back to God? Will what is formed say to him that formed it, Why have you made me thus?

Rom 9:21  Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same mass (lump) one vessel for beauty {and} distinction {and} honorable use, and another for menial {or} ignoble {and} dishonorable use?

Rom 9:22  What if God, although fully intending to show [the awfulness of] His wrath and to make known His power {and} authority, has tolerated with much patience the vessels (objects) of [His] anger which are ripe for destruction?

Rom 9:23  And [what if] He thus purposes to make known {and} show the wealth of His glory in [dealing with] the vessels (objects) of His mercy which He has prepared beforehand for glory,

Rom 9:24  Even including ourselves whom He has called, not only from among the Jews but also from among the Gentiles (heathen)?

Rom 9:25  Just as He says in Hosea, Those who were not My people I will call My people, and her who was not beloved [I will call] My beloved.

Rom 9:26  And it shall be that in the very place where it was said to them, You are not My people, they shall be called sons of the living God.

Rom 9:27  And Isaiah calls out (solemnly cries aloud) over Israel: Though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, only the remnant (a small part of them) will be saved [from perdition, condemnation, judgment]!

Rom 9:28  For the LORD will execute His sentence upon the earth [He will conclude and close His account with men completely and without delay], rigorously cutting it short in His justice.

Rom 9:29   It is as Isaiah predicted, If the LORD of hosts had not left us a seed [from which to propagate descendants], we [Israel] would have fared like Sodom and have been made like Gomorrah.

Rom 9:30  What shall we say then? That the Gentiles [Heathens], which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith [God’s divine persuasion].,

Rom 9:31  Whereas Israel, though ever in pursuit of a law [for the securing] of righteousness (right standing with God), actually did not succeed in fulfilling the Law.

Rom 9:32  For what reason? Because it was not by faith [God’s divine persuasion], but as by works. They stumbled over the Stumbling Stone [Christ].

Rom 9:33  As it is written, Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone that will make men stumble, a Rock that will make them fall; but he who believes [is persuaded by God to believe] in him [Christ] [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on him, is persuaded by God to believe Yeshua is the Messiah] never will be put to shame.

Romans 9:13-33 makes it very clear that it is God who makes the choice in who is born of the Spirit (born from above) and who is not.

Romans 9:13-33 shows why God had the Messiah (Christ) say, “no one can come to me unless it has been granted from God” (John 6:65).

Those who come to Christ have been chosen by God to come to Christ, because they are loved by God, and because they are loved by God, God persuades them to believe that His Son, Yeshua is the Messiah (Christ), and by that faith (God’s divine persuasion) they don’t practice sin, which means they are born from above (born of the Spirit).

Those who are born from above, have no choice in being in born from above, because they have been chosen by God to be born from above (born of the Spirit), long before God had them be born of man & woman.

Jn 1:12  But to as many as did receive {and} welcome the Messiah, he gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) his name [to those who believe he is the Messiah]

Jn 1:13  Who owe their birth neither to bloods [natural birth, born of man & woman] nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

Prov 16:9  The mind of man plans his way, but God determines his steps.

Jn 6:65  No one can come to me unless it has been granted from God.

1 Tim 6:5  And protracted wrangling {and} wearing discussion {and} perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness {or} righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. {From such withdraw.}

Only those who believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah (Christ), that don’t practice sin are God’s chosen people (born from above).

1 Jn 5:1  Whoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “God loves everyone equally”, but that teaching doesn’t agree with the Bible.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “God loves everyone equally”, because that doesn’t agree with the Bible. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that doesn’t agree with the Bible.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that doesn’t agree with what Christ taught, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:14 – For all who are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit] are the children of God.

Matt 5:9 Isn’t About Making Peace With Man

Many people use Matt 5:9 to say those who make peace with man will be called the sons of God, but that isn’t what the word “peacemakers” means, it means to make peace with God, in other words those who make peace with God will be called the sons of God.

The Greek word for “peacemakers” in Matt 5:9 is eirénopoios, the definition of eirénopoios is, peacemaking, a peacemaker.

In Matt 5:9 eirénopoios means, someone who bravely declares God’s terms which makes someone whole, in other words, only those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are the peacemakers that Matt 5:9 talks about.

Matt 5:9  Blessed are the peacemakers [eirénopoios] (those who make peace with God): for they shall be called the children of God.

Nobody by freewill makes peace with God, it is the Holy Spirit that makes a person a peacemaker with God. Those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are born of the Spirit, that’s why they are peacemakers.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:16-18), without the baptism of the Holy Spirit nobody belongs to God.

Only those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit are Christian.

John 3:8  The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit [born from above].

1 Jn 5:1  Whoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

John 10:36 Proves Christ Is Not God

Jn 10:36 do you say of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, you are blaspheming,’ because I said, `I am the Son of God’?

Since Christ said he is the Son of God, there is no way the Apostles would ever say, “Christ is God.”

In Jn 10:36, Christ says he is the Son of God, so in Jn 8:58 Christ isn’t saying he is God. The truth is, there is only one God & that is God the Father, Christ isn’t God the Father, Christ is the Son of God the Father, Jn 10:36 confirms that truth.

Jn 8:58 Christ said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”

Jn 8:32  you shall know the truth & the truth shall make you free – Yeshua the Messiah

Jn 1:1 is a popular verse that many people say, says “Christ is God”, but 2 Cor 5:19 says “God was in Christ”, so Jn 1:1 isn’t saying “Christ is God.”

Jn 1:1  English translation of the Greek text – In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with the God and God was the Word.

2 Cor 5:19  God was in Christ, reconciling the world [God’s chosen people] unto Himself.

For many years I believed the teaching that says, “Christ is God”because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian teach, that teaching does not agree with the Bible.
