Thou Shall Not Murder

The bible doesn’t say “Thou shall not kill”, it says, “Thou shall not murder”, if a thief is killed during his or her crime, that isn’t murder according to God. Exodus 22:2 If a thief is caught while breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there will be no bloodguiltiness on his account.

A person commits murder when he or she plans to kill someone, but when a person is killed while doing wrong, such as a man having sex with another man’s wife, or a thief breaking into someone’s house, that person wasn’t murdered, that person was killed. Murder is intentional unjustified homicide.

Anyone that is killed for doing wrong isn’t murder, if someone intends to do something wrong and that person is killed for his or her crime, that isn’t murder, that is justice.

God uses people to kill, but those who God uses to commit murder are led by the flesh, no one led by the Spirit will commit murder, a person led by the Spirit might kill someone, but never commit murder, the New Testament makes it very clear that those who commit murder are led by the flesh, no one led by the flesh belongs to God.

Proverbs 16:9 The mind of man plans his way, but God determines his steps.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

God Determines The Steps Of Man

Prov 16:9 The mind of man plans his way, but God determines his steps. God has given everyone the freedom to plan, but God has not given anyone a choice in what he or she does.

Prov 20:24 Man’s steps are of the LORD, how can a man then understand his own way.

The New Testament makes it very clear that everything that happens, has been predestined by God to happen, now if everything is predestined to happen, then there are no mistakes in life, there are no accidents, everything happens because it is supposed to happen.

God makes everyone do what they do, that’s what the Bible teaches, the Bible does not teach that everyone has a choice in what he or she does.

Eph 1:1  Paul, an apostle (special messenger) of Christ Yeshua (the Messiah), by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated, set-apart ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful {and} loyal {and} steadfast in Christ Yeshua:

Eph 1:2  May grace (God’s unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Yeshua Christ.

Eph 1:3  May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us {in Christ} with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!

Eph 1:4  Even as [in His love] He [God] chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, {even} above reproach, before Him in love.

Eph 1:5  For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Yeshua Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]–

Eph 1:6 [So that we might be] to the praise {and} the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved [Christ].

Eph 1:7  In him [Christ] we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through his blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches {and} the generosity of His [God’s] gracious favor,

Eph 1:8  Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence),

Eph 1:9  Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His [God’s] will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed {and} set forth in him [Christ],

Eph 1:10  [He planned] for the maturity of the times {and} the climax of the ages to unify all things {and} head them up {and} consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.

Eph 1:11  In him [Christ] we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) {and} we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His [God’s] purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel {and} design of His [own] will

Eph 1:12  So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory!

Eph 1:13  In him [Christ] you [the saints at Ephesus] also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in {and} adhered to {and} relied on him [Christ], were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.

Eph 1:14  That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption {and} our acquiring [complete] possession of it–to the praise of His [God’s] glory.

Many people say only the Jews that believed in Christ were chosen by God, and the non Jews that believe in Christ are not chosen by God, they get that idea from what Paul says in Eph 1:12, but the New Testament makes it very clear that all those who are born of the Spirit, have been chosen by God.

Rom 8:29  For those whom God foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that he might become the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:30  And those whom He [God] thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

Rom 8:31  What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

Rom 8:32  He who did not withhold {or} spare [even] His own Son but gave him up for us all [who are born of the Spirit], will He [God] not also with him [Christ] freely {and} graciously give us all [other] things?

Rom 8:33  Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]

2 Thess 2:13  But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2 Thess 2:14  It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Yeshua Christ.

1 Pet 1:1  Peter, an apostle (a special messenger) of Yeshua Christ, [writing] to the elect exiles of the dispersion scattered (sowed) abroad in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

1 Pet 1:2  Who were chosen {and} foreknown by God the Father and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the Spirit to be obedient to Yeshua Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with [his] blood: May grace (spiritual blessing) and peace be given you in increasing abundance [that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts].

Christ died only for God’s chosen people, Matt 1:21 makes that very clear.

Matt 1:21  She [Mary] will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Savior, for he will save his people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].

God’s chosen people are the Savior’s people, they are the Savior’s people because he died for them, the Savior’s people are all the people that believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin. Those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are born of the Spirit (born from above), a Christian is someone that is born from above.

1 Jn 5:1  Whoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9  No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18  We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

The New Testament makes it very clear that everything that happens, has been predestined by God to happen, now if everything is predestined to happen, then there are no mistakes in life, there are no accidents, everything happens because it is supposed to happen.

God makes everyone do what they do.

Proverbs 16:9  The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD determines his steps.

Proverbs 20:24 Man’s steps are of the LORD, how can a man then understand his own way.

John 6:65 No one can come to me [Christ], unless it were given to him of my Father.

1 Timothy 6:3 – if anyone teaches otherwise and does not assent to the sound {and} wholesome messages of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah (Christ) and the teaching which is in agreement with godliness (piety toward God),

6:4 – He is puffed up with pride {and} stupefied with conceit, [although he is] woefully ignorant. He has a morbid fondness for controversy and disputes {and} strife about words, which result in (produce) envy {and} jealousy, quarrels {and} dissension, abuse {and} insults {and} slander, and base suspicions,

6:5 – And protracted wrangling {and} wearing discussion {and} perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness {or} righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. {From such withdraw.}

Romans 16:17 – I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties {and} cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them.

16:18 – For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites {and} base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting {and} simpleminded [people].

2 John 1:9 – Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what he taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.

1:10 – If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [is disloyal to what Yeshua the Messiah taught], do not receive him [do not accept him, do not welcome or admit him] into [your] house or bid him Godspeed {or} give him any encouragement.

1:11 – For he who wishes him success [who encourages him, wishing him Godspeed] is a partaker in his evil doings.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say, “only the Jews that believed in Christ were God’s chosen people”, that teaching doesn’t agree with the Bible.

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “only the Jews that believed in Christ were God’s chosen people”, because that does not agree with what the Bible says. No one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say something that does not agree with what the Bible says.

If someone claims to be Christian and says something that does not agree with the truth that is written in the Bible, the person is not led by the Holy Spirit, the person is led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not the children of God.

Romans 8:13  For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.

Romans 8:14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God [the Holy Spirit] are the children of God.

In the world today there are many people that claim to be Christian that say it is ok for there to be different denominations in the church, that it is ok for a Christian to believe something different than what another Christian believes, but the Bible does not support different denominations in the church, 1 Corinthians 1:10 says that the church is supposed to believe the same thing.

1 Cor. 1:10  But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

The Devil Didn’t Exist Before Adam

The beginning starts in the book of Genesis, in the beginning Adam was the first man to sin against God, therefore Adam (the natural man) is the devil (false accuser) that is spoken of in 1 John 3:8.

1 John 3:8 – the one who practices sin comes from the devil (false accuser); for the devil (false accuser) has sinned from the beginning

The first man to be a false accuser (devil) is Adam, Adam falsely accused God for his (Adam’s) sin.

Genesis 3:12 – The man said, “The woman whom You gave {to be} with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.

Adam was told by God to not eat of the tree, therefore Adam disobeyed God. Eve did not make Adam sin, Adam was tempted by his own evil desire, and that evil desire is what made Adam sin. The Act of eating the fruit (disobeying God) is what made Adam, the natural man, the devil (false accuser).

James 1:14-15 – every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed {and} baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions).

:15 – Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death.

Romans 5:12 – Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man [Adam], and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.

1 John 3:8 – the one who practices sin comes from the devil (false accuser); for the devil (false accuser) has sinned from the beginning

Angels Don’t Sin

Ps. 103:20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word! Angels were created to obey God, therefore none of the angels (celestial beings) sinned. Satan, the Devil is not a fallen angel, & demons are not fallen angels.

Ps. 103:19 – The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.

Ps. 103:20 – Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!.

Ps. 103:21 – Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Heb 1:14 – Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

The Name “Lucifer” Has Nothing To Do With The Devil

Lucifer is an ancient Latin name for the morning star, the bringer of light. In Rev 22:16 Christ calls himself the bright & morning star. The name “Lucifer” has nothing to do with the devil.

I used to believe that the name “Lucifer” was evil, that “Lucifer” is the name of a fallen angel because that is what many people that claim to be Christian teach, but the Bible does not agree with the teaching that says, “satan, the devil is a fallen angel”

Many people say Isaiah 14:12-14 is talking about a fallen angel, but Isaiah 14:11 makes it very clear that “Lucifer” is dead, and Isaiah 14:16 says Lucifer is a man, here is a link to my post that will show why Isaiah 14:12-14 is not talking about a fallen angel https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/a-christian-doesnt-believe-isaiah-14-is-about-a-fallen-angel/

Psalm 103:19-21 and Hebrews 1:14 make it very clear that all angels (celestial beings)  obey God, which means the teaching that says, “satan, the devil is a fallen angel”, is false.

Psalm 103:19 – The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.

Psalm 103:20 – Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!

Psalm 103:21 – Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Hebrews 1:14 – Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

The irony for those who believe that “Lucifer” refers to satan is that the same title (‘morning star’ or ‘light-bearer’) is used to refer to Christ, in 2 Peter 1:19, where the Greek text has exactly the same term: ‘phos-phoros’ ‘light-bearer.’ This is also the term used for Christ in Revelation 22:16.

2 Peter 1:19 – We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star [Lucifer] arise in your hearts:

Revelation 22:16 – I Yeshua have sent mine angel [messenger] to testify to you these things in the churches [the seven churches]. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star [Lucifer].

I used to believe that the name “Lucifer” was evil, that “Lucifer” is the name of a fallen angel because that is what many people that claim to be Christian teach, but the Bible does not agree with the teaching that says, “satan, the devil is a fallen angel”.

I’ve always liked the name “Lucifer”, and it brings me great joy to know that the name Lucifer has nothing to do with satan, the devil, it’s really sad how many people have been deceived into believing something that is not true about the name Lucifer.

The Bible is truly an amazing book, it’s awesome how both 2 Peter 1:19 and Revelation 22:16 reveal the truth about the name “Lucifer”, that “Lucifer” is not a name that is associated with satan, the devil, but is a name associated with the Messiah. “Lucifer” is a not bad name, “Lucifer” is a good name.

The Messiah is “the bright and morning star (Lucifer)”, Revelation 22:16.

Ezek 28:15 is another verse that many that claim to be Christian say, talks about a fallen angel, but Ezek 28:15, like Isaiah 14:12-14 is talking about a man,  here is a link to my post about Ezek 28:15 that will show that Ezek 28:15 is not talking about satan https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/a-christian-doesnt-believe-ezek-2815-is-about-satan/

Isaiah 14 Isn’t About A Fallen Angel

Is. 14:11 says Lucifer is dead & Is. 14:16 says Lucifer is a man. Those who see you will gaze at you & consider you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms? (Is. 14:16)

The Bible does not agree with the teaching that says, “Isaiah 14 is talking about a fallen angel”.

Psalm 103:19-21 and Hebrews 1:14 make it very clear that all angels (celestial beings)  obey God, which means the teaching that says, “Isaiah 14 is talking about a fallen angel”, is false.

In order to understand who Lucifer is in Isaiah 14:12, one must first read Isaiah 14:4, that verse makes it very clear that Lucifer is the king of Babylon, not a fallen angel.

Isaiah 14:4 – You shall take up this [taunting] parable against the king of Babylon and say, How the oppressor has stilled [the restless insolence]! The golden {and} exacting city has ceased!

Isaiah 14:5 – The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the [tyrant] rulers,

Isaiah 14:6 – Who smote the peoples in anger with incessant blows {and} trod down the nations in wrath with unrelenting persecution–[until] he who smote is persecuted and no one hinders any more.

Isaiah 14:7 – The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they break forth into singing.

Isaiah 14:8 – Yes, the fir trees {and} cypresses rejoice at you [O kings of Babylon], even the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you have been laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.

Isaiah 14:9 – Sheol (Hades, the place of the dead) below is stirred up to meet you at your coming [O tyrant Babylonian rulers]; it stirs up the shades of the dead to greet you–even all the chief ones of the earth; it raises from their thrones [in astonishment at your humbled condition] all the kings of the nations.

Isaiah 14:10 – All of them will [tauntingly] say to you, Have you also become weak as we are? Have you become like us?

Isaiah 14:11 – Your pomp {and} magnificence are brought down to Sheol (the underworld), along with the sound of your harps; the maggots [which prey upon dead bodies] are spread out under you and worms cover you [O Babylonian rulers].

Isaiah 14:12 – How have you fallen from heaven [from power], O light-bringer {and} daystar [Lucifer], son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened {and} laid low the nations

Isaiah 14:13 – And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north.

Isaiah 14:14 – I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.

Isaiah 14:15 – Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol (Hades), to the innermost recesses of the pit (the region of the dead).

Isaiah 14:16 – Those who see you will gaze at you {and} consider you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms?–

Isaiah 14:17 – Who made the world like a wilderness and overthrew its cities, who would not permit his prisoners to return home?

Isaiah 14:18 –  All the kings of the nations, all of them lie sleeping in glorious array, each one in his own sepulcher.

Isaiah 14:19 – But you are cast away from your tomb like a loathed growth {or} premature birth {or} an abominable branch [of the family] {and} like the raiment of the slain; and you are clothed with the slain, those thrust through with the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit [into which carcasses are thrown], like a dead body trodden underfoot.

Isaiah 14:20 – You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and have slain your people. May the descendants of evildoers nevermore be named!

Isaiah 14:21 – Prepare a slaughtering place for his sons because of the guilt {and} iniquity of their fathers, so that they may not rise, possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities.

Isiah 14:22 – And I will rise up against them, says the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son’s son, says the LORD.

I used to believe that Isaiah 14:12-14 is talking about a fallen angel because that is what is taught by many people that claim to be Christian, but after reading Isaiah 14:4-22 it is very clear that Isaiah 14:12-14 is talking about a Babylonian king that fell from power (heaven), that God killed, not a fallen angel.

I used to believe the teaching that says, “satan, the devil is a fallen angel”, but the Bible does not agree with that teaching, here is a link to my posts that will show who satan, the devil really ishttps://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/satan-is-not-a-fallen-angel/

A Christian is someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say,”Isaiah 14 is about a fallen angel”, because that does not agree with what the Bible says.

Romans 8:14 – For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

1 Cor. 1:10 – But I urge {and} entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in perfect harmony {and} full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions {or} factions {or} divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions {and} judgments.

Ezek 28:15 Isn’t About A Fallen Angel

In Jn 8:44, Christ says the devil was a murderer & a liar from the beginning, therefore Ezek 28:15 can’t be talking about satan.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil [false accuser], and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

The truth is, satan is not a fallen angel, none of the angels (celestial beings) sinned, Ezekiel 28:13-17 is talking about a man, the king of Tyrus, not a fallen angel.

Angels were created to obey God, therefore none of the angels (celestial beings) sinned. Satan, the Devil is not a fallen angel, and demons are not fallen angels.

Psalm 103:19 – The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.

103:20 – Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!.

103:21 – Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Hebrews 1:14 – Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

Satan isn’t a fallen angel https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/satan-is-not-a-fallen-angel/

God Makes Evil Happen

Is. 45:7 I form the light & create darkness, I make peace & create evil, I the LORD do all these things. Jeremiah 19:9 And I, God shall make them eat the flesh of their sons & daughters & they will eat one another’s flesh during the stress of the siege imposed by the enemies who seek their lives.

I used to believe that there is a fallen angel called satan, the devil that makes evil happen because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian say, but upon further study of the bible, it is made very clear that there is nothing in the bible that supports that belief, the truth is, it is God that makes evil happen.

A fallen angel doesn’t make evil happen, God does, the Old Testament says God will have men [those who are led by the flesh] kill children and rape women.

Isaiah 13:16 Their children also “shall be” dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives “ravished” (shakab – to rape).

The teaching that says, “satan is the author of death and destruction”, is false.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace & create evil [calamity], I the LORD do all these things

Zephaniah 1:12 And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish the men that are settled on their lees that say in their heart, the LORD will not do good, neither will He do evil

Job 42:11 and they comforted Job, and comforted him over all the adversity that God brought upon him

Amos 3:6 if a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?

Jeremiah 19:9 And I, God shall make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters and they will eat one another’s flesh during the stress of the siege imposed by the enemies who seek their lives.

Acts 4:27-28 makes it very clear that God makes everyone do what they do, God made Herod kill children and God made man kill the Messiah because that was all part of God’s predestined plan.

Acts 4:27-28 For truly in this city there were gathered together against Thy holy child Yeshua, whom Thou [God] didst anoint both Herod & Pontius Pilate, along with the nations, and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Thy hand and purpose predestined to occur.

Proverbs 16:9 The mind of man plans his way, but God determines his steps.

Proverbs 20:24 Man’s steps are of the LORD: how can a man then understand his own way?

A Christian is someone who is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit would ever say, “satan is the author of death and destruction” because that is not true, those who claim to be from God that don’t speak the truth are led by the flesh, those who are led by the flesh are not born of God (born of the Spirit).

The teaching that says, “satan is the author of death and destruction”, is false.

Adam Was The Serpent That Deceived Eve

It’s often said that the dragon in Revelation is the serpent that deceived Eve, but that can’t be true, because everything in Revelation is about after Christ’s resurrection (Rev 1:1).

Revelation was written about the future during John’s time, therefore nothing in Rev 12 is about before the creation of man, or about before Christ was born. Rev 12:9 & Rev 20:10 cannot be used to say the dragon was the serpent that deceived Eve.

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in [the] heaven [the sky]; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

The Greek word “ourano” for “heaven” in Rev 12:3 is singular, that means that the word “heaven” in Rev 12:3 is not talking about the place where God dwells, instead it is talking about the “sky”, if the Greek word were plural then that would be talking about the place where God dwells.

Rev 12:3 is a description of Rome.

The Bible doesn’t support the teaching that says, “the devil, satan is a fallen angel,” therefore the “dragon” in Revelation is not a fallen angel, the “dragon” is Rome.

Rev. 12:9  And the great dragon [Rome] was cast out, the ancient serpent [the deceiver], called the devil [false accuser], and satan [adversary], which deceives the whole world [oikoumene – the Roman world], he was cast out to the earth [the land], and his angels [messengers] were cast out with him.

The Greek word “oikoumene” for the words “whole world” in Rev 12:9 is referring to the Roman world, it is not referring to the entire planet. Rev 12:9 is saying the dragon (Rome) deceives the Roman world, Rev 12:9 is not saying the dragon (Rome) deceives everyone on the planet.

The Greek word “” (ghay) for the words “the earth” in Rev 12:9 is referring to “land”, it is not referring to the entire planet.

Rev 1:1 makes it very clear that everything in Revelation was to happen quickly, and that everything that is written in Revelation is about things that happened after Christ’s resurrection, therefore nothing in Revelation 12 is about before the creation of man, or about before the birth of Christ.

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Yeshua Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass [take place in quickness]

The Greek word “tachei” for the word “shortly” in Rev 1:1 means “quickness, speed, hastily, immediately”

Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in [the] heaven [the sky]! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future [take place after these things].

“After these things” in Rev 4:1 is referring to after what Rev 1-3 says.

Everything that happens after Rev 4 in Revelation is a prophetic word for the seven churches about their future, not our future.

So, now that we know that the dragon in Revelation is not the serpent, we can now go back to Genesis to find out who or what the serpent was that deceived Eve.

God gave man rule over all the animals that God created.

Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them [Adam & Eve]; and God said to them [Adam & Eve], “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

God gave man rule over everything that He created, that means that the serpent in Genesis 3 isn’t superior to man.

In Genesis 2:17 God tells Adam that Adam will eat of the tree, God doesn’t say, “if you eat of the tree”, God says, “for in the day that you eat of the tree”. God knew that Adam would not obey God, and the reason why God knew that, is because God made Adam disobey God, for God’s purpose. (Is 46:9-11).

Gen 2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you [Adam] shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.

Is. 46:9 [Earnestly] remember the former things, [which I did] of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me

Is. 46:10 Declaring the end {and} the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure {and} purpose.

Is. 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east–the man [Cyrus] who executes My counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed it, and I will do it.

Adam knew that he was not supposed to eat of the tree, Eve did not disobey God, Adam disobeyed God. Adam was tempted by his own desires that came from the flesh (James 1:14), it was the flesh that made Adam sin, and God made that happen for His purpose.

Sin entered the world through Adam (Rom 5:12), not Eve.

James 1:14 Everyone one is tempted when he or she is drawn [dragged] away by his or her own desire and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

Rom 5:12 Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man [Adam], and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.

A serpent is someone who is a deceiver. Adam became the serpent as soon as he deceived his wife.

Eve wasn’t tempted by the serpent, Eve was deceived by the serpent, deception is not temptation.

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, `You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?

Notice, the serpent says, “you” in Gen 3:1, and Eve says, “we” in Gen 3:2.

Gen 3:2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat:

Gen 3:2 shows that Eve is talking to Adam when she says, “we” & Gen 3:6 confirms that Adam is the one talking to Eve, Eve ate of the fruit first and then Eve gave it to her husband who was with her.

Gen 3:6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make {one} wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

Eve was deceived, she was not tempted.

God created Adam before Eve, Adam was the one that named all of the animals that God had created (Gen 2:19), the only reason why Eve knew to call the serpent, a serpent, is because Adam had to have told his wife that it was called a serpent.

Gen 2:19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought {them} to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.

2 Cor. 11:3-5 says that a serpent is a deceiver, the serpent was not a snake when it deceived Eve, Gen 3:14 confirms that truth.

2 Cor. 11:3-5 proves the serpent is not a fallen angel. Anyone that says they are from God who does not speak the truth that God had the Apostles speak is just like the serpent that deceived Eve. Rome was a deceiver, therefore the dragon (Rome) in Revelation is “the ancient serpent”.

2 Cor. 11:3  But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity {of devotion} to Christ.

2 Cor. 11:4  For [you seem readily to endure it] if a man comes and preaches another Yeshua [Christ] than the One we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the [Spirit] you [once] received or a different gospel from the one you [then] received {and} welcomed; you tolerate [all that] well enough!

2 Cor. 11:5  Yet I consider myself as in no way inferior to these [precious] extra-super [false] apostles.

The New Testament never says a serpent is a fallen angel, but the New Testament does say a serpent is human.

Matt 10:16 Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary {and} wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves.

Matt 23:33 You serpents! You spawn of vipers! How can you escape the penalty to be suffered in hell (Gehenna)?

Luke 10:19 Behold! I have given you authority {and} power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you

The enemy that is spoken of in Luke 10:19 is the spirit of the natural man, not fallen angel.

God gave man rule over all the animals that God created, therefore the serpent cannot be an animal, the serpent is man.

The Bible never says God told Eve not to eat of the tree, Adam was the serpent that deceived Eve.

Gen 3:15 And I [God] will put enmity between you [the serpent (Adam)] and the woman, and between your [the serpent (the natural man’s) offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise {and} tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait {and} bruise His heel

An animal cannot have human children, therefore the serpent that God is talking to in Gen 3:15 is not an animal, the serpent is Adam.

Those who believe God’s Son, Yeshua is the Messiah (the Christ) that stop practicing sin, are of the woman’s seed, and those who practice sin are of the serpent’s seed.

The serpent that God is talking to in Gen 3:14 is an animal, but the serpent that God is talking to in Gen 3:15 is Adam. The serpent’s seed is the seed of Adam, the serpent’s seed isn’t the seed of an animal, the children of the flesh (the natural man) are the serpent’s seed, the children of the natural man are not the children of God (Rom 9:8)

Gen 3:14 And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life

Rom 9:8 They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

After Adam falsely accused God for his (Adam’s) sin, Adam became the false accuser (devil), the word devil means “false accuser.”

Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom You [God] gave to be with me–she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate.

The devil (false accuser) is man, Adam is the natural man, the devil (false accuser) sinned from the beginning, Adam was in the beginning, Cain was of the devil (false accuser), Cain was Adam’s son, both Cain and Abel were Adam’s sons, Cain was of the seed of the serpent (the natural man), and Abel was of the woman’s seed, the woman’s seed are all who are persuaded by God to obey God, Abel was persuaded by God to obey God, Cain was not.

Heb 11:4 By faith [God’s divine persuasion] Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks

The Greek word for “faith” in Heb 11:4 is “pistis”, “pistis” is “God’s divine persuasion.”

There is a teaching that says Eve had sex with the serpent and that is how Cain was born, that teaching says that the serpent is a fallen angel, Eve did have sex with the serpent, but the serpent wasn’t a fallen angel, the serpent was Adam, Gen 4:1 confirms the truth that Cain is the son of Adam and Eve.

Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

1 Jn 3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil [false accuser (the natural man)]; for the devil [false accuser (the natural man)] sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil [the false accuser (the natural man)].

Cain murdered Abel, Cain was of the natural man and Abel was persuaded by God to obey God.

1 Jn 3:12 not as Cain, {who} was of the evil one [the devil, the natural man] and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous

The children of the devil (false accuser) are the children of the flesh (the natural man), the natural man (Adam) lied to his wife when he said to her “you shall not surely die” (Gen 3:4), and then Adam murdered his wife spiritually by deceiving her into eating the fruit, therefore the devil (false accuser) that Christ speaks about in Jn 8:44 is the natural man (Adam), not a fallen angel.

Jn 8:44 You are of {your} father the devil [false accuser (the natural man)], and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own {nature,} for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The natural man disobeyed God, therefore the natural man (flesh and blood) cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 15:50), that’s why man must be born from above (born of the Spirit) to inherit the kingdom of God.

Jn 3:3 Christ answered and said to Nicodemus, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a man be born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jn 3:5 Christ answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit [born of the Spirit (born from above)] he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jn 3:7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, `You must be born from above’

Jn 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit [born from above].

1 Cor. 15:50 Now this I say, brethren [the church], that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

Christ (the Messiah) was the second man (Adam) (1 Cor 15:45), Christ was tempted as everyone is tempted, yet he did not sin (Heb 4:15), Christ did not sin because he was born of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit protected Christ from sin, and the Holy Spirit protects those who are born from above (born of the Spirit) from sin, that’s why those who are born from above don’t practice sin.

Heb 4:15 For we [the church] have not an high priest [Christ] which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

The New Testament makes it very clear that a Christian does not practice sin, if anyone that claims to be Christian practices any of the things that are listed in 1 Cor. 6:9-10 & Gal 5:19-21, they are not born of God (Christian).

1 Cor. 6:9 – do you [those who are born from above (Christian)] not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators [those who have sex outside marriage], nor idolaters [an image worshiper], nor adulterers [a man who is guilty with a married woman, a man who lusts after (covets) another man’s wife (Matt 5:28)], nor effeminate [a man who submits his body to unnatural lewdness], nor homosexuals [any person engaging in same-gender sexual activity],

1 Cor. 6:10 – nor thieves [a thief in secret, rather than in the open with violence, an embezzler, a pilferer] nor {the} covetous [greedy of gain, a defrauder, trampling on the rights of others], nor drunkards, nor revilers [reproach (reviling) , injuring another’s reputation by denigrating, abusive insults] nor swindlers [a robber,  an extortioner] will inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal. 5:19 – Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality [fornication, whoredom, surrendering of sexual purity, any (every) type of promiscuity, sex outside marriage], impurity [in a moral sense, the impurity of lustful, luxurious, profligate living],  sensuality [lewdness],

Gal. 5:20 – idolatry [image worship], sorcery [the practice of magical arts], enmities [hostility, hatred], strife [a contentious spirit, affection for dispute], jealousy [rivalry], outbursts of anger [anger that comes from the flesh, selfish anger], disputes [selfish rivalry, self-seeking], dissensions [divisions which wrongly divide people into pointless factions], factions [a self-chosen opinion, a religious or philosophical sect, discord or contention].

Gal. 5:21 – envying [being glad when someone experiences misfortune or pain],  murders [intentional unjustified homicide], drunkenness [deep drinking, intoxication] carousing [unbridled sexual immorality, debauched partying] and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

A Christian is someone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practices sin.

1 Jn 5:1 – Everyone who believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9 – No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18 – We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of God preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

The serpent that deceived Eve was Adam, then after Adam accused God for his (Adam’s sin), Adam became the devil (false accuser).

There is no verse in the Bible that says the serpent was the devil (false accuser), the devil (false accuser) didn’t exist until Adam accused God for his (Adam’s) sin.

The True Meaning Of Isaiah 9:6

In the Hebrew Old Testament, Isaiah 9:6 does not say the Messiah is God, the Jews believed in one God, therefore they would NEVER believe the Messiah was God, in fact Yeshua himself said that the Father is the only true God (John 17:3)

The English bible has changed the truth, anyone that takes the time to compare the Hebrew Old Testament to the English Old Testament & the Greek New Testament to the English New Testament will see that words have been changed.

The truth is, the English bible has changed the true meaning of Isaiah 9:6

It has been claimed that the Jews had expected that the Messiah would be God Almighty himself, based on Isaiah 9:6. This is actually an assertion rather than reality. The Jewish Publication Society Bible (JPS) translation renders Isaiah 9:6 as:

“For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Pele-joez-el-gibbor-Abi-ad-sar-shalom; [Footnote: That is, Wonderful in counsel is God the Mighty, the everlasting Father, the Ruler of peace.]” The Hebrew is expressed in this translation as a singular “name”. I doubt that any ancient Hebrew reading this would imagine, assume, and read into this verse that the one being spoken of was being called God Almighty.

John 17:3 proves the truth that the English translation of Isaiah 9:6 is wrong

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God and Yeshua the Messiah whom you have sent

Isaiah 9:6 English translation For to us a child is born, to us a child is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hebrews 1:8 s a popular verse that many people use to say Christ is God, Hebrews 1:8  isn’t saying Christ is God, here’s a link to my post entitled “Heb 1:8″ that will explain more.
