In Revelation, Jerusalem Doesn’t Have A Physical Temple

In Rev 21 Jerusalem doesn’t have a physical temple, which means that a temple doesn’t need to be built in Jerusalem, for Christ to return.

For many years I believed the land in the Middle East is “Israel” that is spoken about in the Bible, because that is what the majority of people that claim to be Christian teach, and because I believed that teaching, I believed that there needs to be a new temple built in Jerusalem before Christ returns, but the Bible doesn’t agree with that teaching.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev  21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:10  And he [the angel] carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:22  And I saw no temple therein [in new Jerusalem]: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb [Christ] are the temple of it.

In Revelation 21, Jerusalem is spiritual, the Jerusalem that is spoken about in Rev 21 is happening now, new Jerusalem are the people throughout the world that believe Yeshua is the Messiah (Christ) that don’t practice sin.

Rev 21:24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it:

Rev 21:27  and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Since the temple was destroyed in AD70, that proves that the New Testament was not written for this time period, “new Jerusalem” doesn’t have a physical temple, since Rev 11:2 speaks about the temple before it was destroyed, that proves that Revelation was written before AD 70, and since the temple was destroyed that proves that everything in the New Testament has already happened.

Everything in Revelation has already happened,

Revelation is about things that were to happen before the destruction of Jerusalem,  Revelation is about the destruction of Jerusalem, Revelation is about the day of the Lord, which happened after the destruction of Jerusalem, and Revelation is about the new world system that God created after the day of the Lord.

The new world system is spiritual, the “new heavens and a new earth” that is spoken of in 2 Pet 3:13 is “new Jerusalem” that is spoken of in Rev 21, all who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin are the new world system (new heavens and a new earth) that is spoken about in 2 Peter 3:13.

2 Pet 3:13  But we look for new heavens and a new earth [a new world system] according to his promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.

The word “we” in 2 Peter 3:13 is referring to the people that the author of 2 Pet was writing to at the time that 2 Pet was written, the word “we” is not referring to this time period.

The “new heavens and a new earth (new Jerusalem)” that is spoken of in 2 Pet 3:13 doesn’t mean that there won’t be people still living in sin on earth, Revelation 21 & 22 never say everyone obeys God after the new heavens and new earth are created, Rev 21 & 22 make it very clear that the “new heavens and a new earth” that is spoken of 2 Peter 3:13 is not a new planet where everyone obeys God.

Rev 21:27  and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it [new Jerusalem (the new heavens and new earth)], but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Rev 22:14  Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority {and} right to [approach] the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city [new Jerusalem (the new heavens and new earth)].

Rev 22:15  [But] outside new Jerusalem [the new heavens and new earth] are the dogs and those who practice sorceries (magic arts) the sexually immoral [anyone who has sex outside of marriage] and the murderers [those who commit unjustified, intentional homicide] and idolaters [those who worship an image] and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood (untruth, false religion, the false church).

Everything that is spoken about in Rev 21 & 22 is happening now, “new Jerusalem (the new heavens and new earth)” is spiritual, all who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin, enter new Jerusalem, and all who practice sin do not enter new Jerusalem.

1 Jn 5:1  Whoever believes that Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9  No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18  We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of the Spirit preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].

The teaching that says, “the tribulation hasn’t happened” is false.

The teaching that says, “the day of the Lord hasn’t happened” is false.
The teaching that says, “we are in the last days” is false.

The teaching that says, “Revelation was written before AD70″ is false.

The teaching that says, “the gospel has to be preached to everyone on the planet, and then the planet will be destroyed” is false.

In the world today there are many people who claim to be Christian that say, “the temple needs to be rebuilt, before Christ’s return”, Revelation 21 doesn’t agree with that teaching.

A Christian is someone who is led by the Holy Spirit, no one led by the Holy Spirit will ever say, “the temple needs to be rebuilt, before Christ’s return,” because that doesn’t agree with Revelation 21.

Anyone that claims to be Christian that says, “the temple needs to be rebuilt, before Christ’s return,” doesn’t speak the truth, those who claim to be Christian that don’t speak the truth are either deceived, or not born from above (born of the Spirit).

2 Pet 3:7 isn’t about the planet being destroyed by fire, it’s about people being destroyed by fire, after the nations (heathen world) destroyed Jerusalem, the ungodly people were destroyed by fire. Here is a link to my post that will show that the “day of the Lord” happened after Jerusalem was destroyed https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/the-day-of-the-lord-has-already-happened/

Rev 1:7, 7:14 & 11:2 all prove that Revelation was written before AD70, here is a link to my posts that will show that Revelation was written before AD70 https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/revelation-was-written-before-70ad/

The “whole world” that is spoken about in Matt 24:14, Rev 12:9 & Rev 16:14 is the Roman world, here is a link to my post that will show that Matt 24:14 & Rev 12:9 & Rev 16:14 are talking about the Roman world, not the planet https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/revelation-is-about-the-roman-world-not-the-planet/

We are not in the “last days”, here is a link to my posts that will show that we are not in the last days https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/category/we-are-not-in-the-last-days/
