Christ Said He Will Deny Many That Believe In Him

Matt 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of the heavens, but he who does the will of my Father Who is in the heavens.

The Bible makes it very clear that Christ doesn’t entrust himself to all who believe in him.

Jn 2:23 Now when he [Christ] was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name [believed he is the Christ (the Messiah)], observing his signs which he was doing.

Jn 2:24 But Christ, on his part, was not entrusting himself to them, for he knew all men.

Matt 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious {and} broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.

Mat 7:14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened {and} compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.

Matt 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of the heavens, but he who does the will of my Father Who is in the heavens.

Matt 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and driven out demons in your name and done many mighty works in your name?

Matt 7:23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from me, you who act wickedly [disregarding my commands].

The will of God that Christ speaks of in Matt 7:21 is not to practice sin.

The “many” that Yeshua speaks of in Matt 7:13 are people that believe he is the Messiah (Christ) that don’t stop practicing sin, they are the people that Yeshua says will not enter the kingdom of the heavens in Matt 7:21, and they are the people that Yeshua says he will deny in Matt 7:23.

The “few” that Yeshua speaks of in Matt 7:14 are the people that believe he is the Messiah that don’t practice sin.

The “few” that Yeshua speaks of in Matt 7:14 are baptized in the Holy Spirit, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is what makes a person stop practicing sin, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:16-18).

The Christian church are only the people that are baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The teaching that says, “those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah will go to heaven” is false.

The truth is, only those who believe Yeshua is the Messiah that don’t practice sin, will enter the kingdom of the heavens.

1 Jn 5:1 Whoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 3:9 No one born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God [born of the Spirit].

1 Jn 5:18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God [born of the Spirit] does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over {and} protects him [Christ’s divine presence (the Holy Spirit) within him who is born of God preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one [the spirit of the natural man] does not lay hold (get a grip) on him {or} touch [him].
