Heb 1:10 Isn’t Saying Christ Is God

Heb 1:2 says God created the ages through Christ, that’s why God says to Christ in Heb 1:10, “you, Lord, did lay the foundation of the earth in the beginning”.

The Greek word for the word “worlds” in Heb 1:2 is “aión“, aión means “age”, aión does not mean “world”, the word “aión” in Heb 1:2 is plural, therefore Heb 1:2 says, “God created the ages through Christ”, it does not say, “God created the worlds through Christ”.

Hebrews 1:1 – God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways

Hebrews 1:2 – in these last days has spoken to us in His Son [Christ], whom He [God] appointed heir of all things, through whom [Christ] also He [God] made the worlds [ages].;

Hebrews 1:10 – And [further], you, Lord, did lay the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of your hands.

Hebrews 1:2 says God created the ages through Christ, that’s why God says to Christ in Hebrews 1:10, “you, Lord, did lay the foundation of the earth in the beginning”.

Many people say Hebrews 1:8 says Christ is God, but Hebrews 1:8 in Greek isn’t saying Christ is God, the Greek word “ὁ” in Hebrews 1:8 means “the”, the translators of the English Bible did not translate the Greek word “ὁ” to “the”, therefore Hebrews 1:8 in the English Bible says “Your throne, O God is forever and ever”, instead of “Your throne, the God is forever and ever”.

Hebrews 1:8 does not say Christ is God, Hebrews 1:8 says, “Christ’s throne is God’s throne”. Here is a link to my post that will explain more about Hebrews 1:8 https://bornfromabove7.wordpress.com/2014/08/19/heb-18/
