A Christian Is Supposed To Judge The Church

1 Cor. 5:9-10 I wrote to you in my (previous) letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of the world, or with the covetous & swindlers, or with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world.

5:11 – But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of [Christian] brother if he is known to be guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater [whose soul is devoted to any object that usurps the place of God], or is a person with a foul tongue [railing, abusing, reviling, slandering], or is a drunkard or a swindler {or} a robber. [No] you must not so much as eat with such a person..

5:12 – What [business] of mine is it {and} what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside [the church] upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment [passing censuring sentence on them as the facts require]?

5:13 – God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel the person from your church].

A Christian is not supposed to protest abortion, same sex marriage,  fornication, or anything else that the world does. A Christian is supposed to live peacefully with everyone, the only people that a Christian is supposed judge are the people that claim to be Christian that practice sin.

Any church (group of people) that claims to be Christian that judges the world, is not led by the Spirit, and any church (group of people) that allows anyone that claims to be Christian that practices sin, to stay in their church, is not led by the Spirit, anyone that is not led by the Spirit is not Christian.

Romans 8:9 – But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God.
