God Is Christ’s Father, Christ Isn’t God

Jn 16:27-28 For the Father loves you [the church], because you loved me, and believed that I came out from God, I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and go to the Father. God is Christ’s Father, Christ is not God, Christ came forth from God, that is what made Christ and God one.

Christ was a man that was born of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit that dwelled in Christ is what made Christ and God one.

John 1:1 doesn’t say “Christ is God”, John 1:1 says “God was in Christ”, 2 Cor. 5:19 confirms that truth.

John 1:1 English translation of the Greek translation – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with [the] God, and God was the Word.

2 Cor 5:19 – God was in Christ, reconciling the world [the chosen world] unto Himself.

John 8:40 – But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God.

Acts 2:22 – Men of Israel, listen to these words: Yeshua the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know

:23 this {Man,} delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put {him} to death

:24 But God raised him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for him to be held in its power.

The teaching that says, “you have to believe Christ is God, to be Christian” is false, the truth is, anyone that believes Yeshua is the Messiah that no longer practices sin, is Christian.

John 20:31 – these have been written that you might believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God and that by believing, you might have life in his name.

The statement, “in his name” in John 20:31 is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to believing in the name Yeshua.

1 John 5:1 – Whosoever believes Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God.

1 John 3:9 – No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed [the Holy Spirit] abides in him or her; and he or she cannot sin, because he or she is born of God.
