Christ Is Not God

1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Yeshua. Jn 8:40 But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard from God

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Yeshua Messiah whom You have sent

For those who don’t know, the word “Christ”, means “Messiah”

Many people say, “The Messiah had to be God in order to pay the price of sin”, but there is no scripture anywhere that says that. Instead all the scriptures declare what was required, “a sinless man”, not God, to give himself to God. God did not sacrifice himself to himself.

Ephesians. 5:2 and walk in love, just as Messiah also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

In Ephesians 5:2 the author is talking to the church, therefore the word “us” is referring to only those who are born of God

John 20:31 these have been written that you may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name

The statement “in his name” is referring to believing Yeshua is the Messiah, it is not referring to the name “Yeshua”

1 John 3:9 No one born of God practices sin
1 John 5:1 Whosoever believes that Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God

Ephesians 4:5-6 is another part of scripture that proves Christ is not God, here is a link to my post entitled “One Lord, One God”, that will explain more.
